Trotse Muren, Academiehuis de Grote Kerk Zwolle

Together with three other artists, we painted a wall of approximately 40-50m behind the Academiehuis de Grote Kerk. This wall and the images painted on them will remain standing for somewhere around three to four years as the church is undergoing renovations. The piece is an illustrative compilation of the different positive aspects of Zwolle which we experience on a day by day basis.

Dmncn
CCR + CRNA

Podcast-illustration for the Dominicanenklooster, Zwolle.

The illustrations display two different scenarios from the series of podcasts. One where two brothers of the monastery saved the whole building from burning down by using wet cloths and a fire extinguisher. And the other image is about the sole patient of the impromptu hospital that was shortly setup in the monastery during the second world war.

For CrossComix Rotterdam, I made fifteen pages for their annual introduction bookwork. It’s a short comic about a mysterious group of robots who are magically able to perform all over the world. And no one can figure how they manage to do it.

(Short introduction)

A local organization started a Corona-inspired art contest, a challenge to locals to make a piece of art related to the Corona measurements of the time. I was chosen as one of the winners with this illustration of a son talking to his grandfather while they remain separated by the glass door.
